Apartments or Row Housing
If a person with AD lives in an apartment building or in row housing, it may help to distinguish the front door of the house by using an identifiable wreath, large doorknocker, flag, flower arrangement or picture, as long as it's something they can identify with.
If it is likely they will be trying to enter houses that aren't theirs, you may want to let your neighbours know.
Their own bedroom door should also have something on it to alert them to the fact that this is their own room (perhaps a picture of them when they were younger).
